Kellie Martin is an American TV, film as well as stage actor. Her most famous roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". In addition, she is famous for her role as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin, born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her professional career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt who worked as an nanny for Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin land a role in 1982 series "Father Murphy". When she graduated of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness and landed roles on the small screen and big. Martin as well as being an accomplished actor and dancer, she is also a skilled ballet photographer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at the age of 19, inspired her to become the Lupus the national spokesperson.
